Overview

Cordelia Sky is an upcoming premium cruise ship set to debut in India in September 2026, operated by Cordelia Cruises. Originally built in 1999 as the Norwegian Sky, the mid-sized vessel will carry around 2,000 passengers with about 900 crew and is being repositioned to offer a more international-standard cruise experience tailored for Indian travelers.

The ship will feature modern amenities including multiple dining venues, bars and lounges, live entertainment, fitness facilities, and a wide range of cabins from standard rooms to luxury suites.

It will primarily operate short cruises from Mumbai to destinations like Goa and Lakshadweep, along with “cruise to nowhere” options, before expanding to longer international itineraries such as Chennai to Singapore via Southeast Asia. Overall, Cordelia Sky represents a significant upgrade for India’s cruise market, bringing larger capacity, better onboard experiences, and expanded travel routes.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE

  • Each stateroom must have at least one passenger who is age 18+
  • Age of Infant: 12 months to 24 years old. Infants must be at least 1 year old from the date of sailing to be allowed to sail.
  • Cordelia Cruises will not accept passengers who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during their cruise vacation.
  • Cordelia Cruises reserves the right to cancel or substitute any scheduled port of call/itinerary/price/program at any time without prior notice.
  • All guests above 12 years of age need to have a double vaccination certificate mandatorily.
  • All guests (Indian Nationals) must present an original copy of a valid Photo ID such as an Aadhar Card/PAN card/Driving Licence/Passport along with the Double Vaccination Certificate. In cases other than Indian nationals require an original
  • passport along with the visa copy and double Vaccination Certificate.
  • The infant must have an ID with a photo, also authorization of either parent if traveling with only one parent.
