Itinerary
Arrive at Chandigarh airport station on arrival proceed by surface to Shimla (also spelt as 'Simla') derives its name from goddess 'Shayamla Devi', which is another manifestation of Goddess Kali. The capital of Himachal Pradesh came into light when the British discovered it in 1819. Till then, it was a part of the Nepalese kingdom. In 1864 Shimla was declared as the summer capital of India. After Independence, Shimla became the capital of Punjab and was later named the capital of Himachal Pradesh, upon arrival check-in to the Hotel. Evening visit to The Mall.

Morning after breakfast visit to Kufri is a tiny hill station located 19-kms from Shimla on the National Highway No.22. It has a Himalayan Nature park and close by is the Indira Tourist Park with HPTDC's Cafe Lalit. Indira Park provides some great views of the nearby places. Here one can enjoy a Pony or a Yak Ride. The region around Shimla including Kufri was once a part of the Kingdom of Nepal. This region remained obscure from the rest of the world until the British 'discovered' it in 1819. The British made Shimla their summer capital in 1864 and it remained so until 1939. As Shimla gained importance, Kufri also began to be recognized as an important place to visit near Shimla and later visit to Jhakhu Temple Shimla's highest peak offers a panoramic view of the town. An ancient "Lord Hanuman" temple. Way from Ridge near Church (on foot) One can also hire pony or taxi to visit the temple.
Evening visit to The Mall Road, The Ridge This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo-Gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo-Tudor library building are here and Lakkar Bazaar, Popular for its wood crafts and souvenirs, this is just off the Ridge.

Morning after breakfast proceed by surface to Manali via Bilaspur, Sunder Nagar, Mandi, Kullu. Evening arrive Manali, upon arrival check-in to Hotel.

After breakfast proceed to visit Atal Tunnel [also known as Rohtang Tunnel] is a Highway Tunnel built under Rohtang Pass in Eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas on Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is longest highway tunnel in the world and is named after former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This tunnel reduced the distance between Manali and Leh by 46 Kms. Total Length: 9.02 Kms. Height from Sea Level: 3,048 Mtrs and continue visit to Sissu Water Fall is located on Leh–Manali Highway in Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. The main source of Water Fall is the suspended glaciers on the Himalayan Range. This Water Fall is also known by "Heart Shape Water Fall".
Later continue proceed to visit Solang Valley popularly known as Snow Point, is 13 km northwest of Manali and famous for its 300-meter ski lift. It comes alive during the winter months for ski lovers and during the summer months it is a heaven for Paragliding, trekking and camping. It is a picturesque spot and offers splendid views of glaciers and the snow-capped mountains. Jagatsukh, the former capital of Manali, is also an important spot.

After breakfast visit to Tibetan Monastery - This is new and colorful. A pleasant place to visit. Hadimba Temple this ancient Hadimba temple is a very sacred place for the locals. It is said that Bhim met the demon Hadimba here and married her. The Pandavas were here during their exile, Manu Temple - This historical Hindu temple in a serene setting back dropped by mountains is accessible by foot.
Evening visit to Tibetan Market and Mall, The Tibetan Market is an interesting cluster of shops. Nice to browse around for knick knacks, handicrafts and imported goods. Located on the Mall. The Mall also has other shops selling local handicrafts and clothes. It also has some good restaurants. Buses, taxis and autos are easily available from the Mall. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
After breakfast proceed by surface to Dharamshala, is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts. Enroute visit to Palampur is a hill station in India’s northern state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s known for its tea gardens like the Palampur Cooperative Tea Factory, which also processes the leaves. A waterfall drops into a stream at Bundla Chasm. Saurabh Van Vihar nature park has picnic spots, birdlife and views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar range. A forested trail leads northeast to hilltop Birni Devi Temple, with mountain views, On arrival check-in to the hotel.

After breakfast visit to Cricket Stadium, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Jain Mandir, Dall Lake, McLeodganj, Nechung Monastery, Tsuglagkhang, Dalai Lama Temple Complex, Bhagsunath Temple, Dal Lake & Bhagsu Water Fall. Evening Mall road in Dharamshala.

After breakfast proceed by surface to Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views. Enroute visit to Khajjiar, Referred as the Mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar is one of the best Saucer shaped meadows lined with Tall Deodar Trees and a Lake in the middle, Dain Kund, Kala Top etc. Later continue drive to Dalhousie, on arrival check-in to the hotel.

After breakfast sightseeing of Dalhousie and visit the beautiful Satdhara Waterfall, Churches of St. Andrew’s and St. Patrick’s at Balun, the St. Francis’ Church at Subash Chowk, and St. John’s Church at Gandhi Chowk. Other places of tourist interest include Panchpula, Subhash Baoli. Evening enjoy the walking tour of Dalhousie market.

Other prominent and worth visiting parks of the Chandigarh city are the Garden of Tranquillity, Garden of Rare Plants, Garden of Annuals, the Bougainvillea Garden, Botanical Garden, and the Garden of Aromatic Plants.
